Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing depends on the group size, format, and level of customization, but our scavenger hunt events start at $1,500 for up to 30 players. Depending on budget, size, and scope, we have tiers and add-ons to make it the best fit for your team. Get a quote, and we’ll nail down the right experience.
We design events for groups of all sizes, from intimate teams of 20 to company-wide events with thousands. Some of our most memorable custom events have been for larger groups, like Vimeo's 1,200 employees and Google DeepMind's 3,000 employees. If you're not sure your group is the right size, just ask. We'll make it work.
We’re based in San Francisco and run city scavenger hunts for companies all across the US, including in major hubs like New York, Austin, Chicago, Boston, and Seattle. We’ve also gone global with in-person and remote international events. If you have a location in mind, reach out, and we’ll let you know what’s possible!
Once a scavenger hunt is kicked off, the game lasts for 2 hours. Budget around 2.5 hours total to accommodate arrival, kickoff, and wrap-up. We can adjust the length to fit your event schedule, whether you have a full open afternoon or a tight lunch window.
Yes. Our hybrid and remote formats are built specifically for distributed teams. Remote and in-person teammates can compete in a Hunt simultaneously using our app and technology. It's one of our most popular formats for global companies.
Every scavenger hunt event — and all our communication leading up to it — is tailored to your team. For deeper customization, such as incorporating your company culture, branded challenges, or Slack channel inside jokes, we offer personalization options. We also offer fully bespoke experiences at an additional cost. If you have a vision in mind, tell us about it when you get a quote, and we'll scope it out for you.
Both options — on-site host or self-run — are available. If you want your team to just show up and have fun, we can provide an on-site Handstand facilitator who runs everything on the day, including hyping your group up and announcing post-game awards. Prefer more control and flexibility? We’ll equip you with everything you need to run it yourselves. Just let us know which fits your style when you request a quote.
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks out to allow time for logistics. Book 4–6 weeks out if you're looking for added customization. For fully custom events for groups of 200+, plan for at least 2 months. That being said, we've pulled off event magic on shorter timelines. If you're in a crunch, get in touch, and we'll see what tricks we can pull off for you!
