You choose the neighborhood! Pick between these awesome San Francisco neighborhoods: Embarcadero, North Beach, The Mission, SoMa, Chinatown, or Union Square. The exact start and end point depends on your group’s plans and size. We’ll work with you to design the right event for your team. If you’re interested in a different neighborhood, you can also let us know.
Our Hunts in San Francisco scale from small teams of 20 to groups of hundreds. We’ve run large-scale events all over the city for companies like Google, Apple, Airbnb, and Uber. The more the merrier!
Your choice! All of our Hunts include remote support from our experts if anyone has questions or gets stuck on a riddle. There is also the option to have an in-person host for on-the-ground hype and support. Our hosts meet you in person at your starting point for an energizing kickoff, and wrap the game up afterwards with a winners’ ceremony.
Budget for a few miles of walking over the course of the ~2-hour game. It’s up to teams if they want to level up the energy and run! This is a city adventure, not an Ironman. Bear in mind that the hilliest neighborhood is North Beach, with a few hills; however, most of the route is flat, and all riddles are optional to complete. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.
Players receive a unique game link that takes them directly into the Hunt app. Just click, download, and play. The app guides teams through the Hunt content and handles all scoring in real time.
We can start your Hunt from almost anywhere within the designated game neighborhood. Popular starting areas include your company’s office, hotel, an easy-to-find plaza, or a statue in a centrally-located park. We’ll tailor the route around your team’s location. Let us know where you’re based when you get a quote.
San Francisco tends to have fair weather all year round, with fog in the summer and some rain in the winter and spring. Most teams choose to power through light rain. For heavier weather, we’ll work with you on contingency options. Get in touch if you have concerns about your event date.
