- Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files.

- Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device's location, which can be either precise or imprecise. Handstand collects location data – even when the app is backgrounded or not in use – to enable geospatial validation for riddle solving, as well as generating path data for rendering out a game map with your path traced.
Information collected through our App
In Short: We only collect information during your Event. We collect information regarding your geo-location, mobile device, push notifications, when you use our App.
If you use our App during your Event, we also collect the following information:
- Geo-Location Information. We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device while you are using our App to provide certain location-based services.
- Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information.
- Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the App.
- Security & encryption. All personal and sensitive user data is transmitted securely using modern cryptographic techniques, such as HTTPS.
2. How Do We Use Your Information?
In Short: We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.
We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of business purposes described below. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

All of our database and server data is stored, encrypted, and protected by AWS's (Amazon Web Services) highest account protections.

8. Controls For Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
